Step 1- Consultation and Measurements
Setting a budget is the most important initial step and will allow you to figure out the size and scope of your project. Allow ELEMENT to design and create your project with an initial FREE consultation.
Scheduling a FREE consultation with one of our professionals is the first step in the design phase. Our Designer will meet with you at your convenience in the comfort of your home to go over options, design elements, and translate measurements for further designing. By choosing ELEMENT you’re able to select from the highest quality of products that are available to meet any budget.
Step 2- Designing
With all the essential information collected, ELEMENT can then proceed with the designs and visual floor plans. All measurements and designs are integrated onto our Computer Aided Drawing program 20/20, this state-of-the-art program will allow you to visualize the overall design in 3 Dimension. 20/20 allows you to view textures, colors, door styles and placement of cabinetry, which will give you a better sense of what the finished product will look like.
Step 3- Design Consultation
The initial Design Consultation is considered FREE as well, this will allow you to go over the designs with the Designer, to best explain how your project will move forward.
The Designer will schedule you for another meeting to discuss the layout, products, measurements, etc… typically this is done in the comfort of your home. This gives you the client a great opportunity to see the proposed designs in the actual environment. Designs can then be best expressed to and from the client on how and what change is needed, this process is excepted in order to clarify the overall design concept.
In order to proceed with your design planning, we request a design fee which will be credited to the overall purchase of your project.
Step 4- Final Consultation/Design
At this time we invite you to come to our showroom and finalize all details and answer any questions that may have. Your Designer will then walk you through your proposed designs to insure that you fully understand the size and scope of your project, this will include styling, finishes, hardware options and customized features that will beat suit your needs and designs.
Step 5- Service Agreement
After the Final Consultation, your project plans are finalized with your approval. Once designs and pricing have been approved, you will be presented with a Service Agreement. At this time we ask that the full cabinetry amount be paid as your initial deposit, if this does not apply than payments will be per the “Payment Schedule” located in the Service Agreement. All details will be explained by your Designer at this time, and any questions will be answered. Lead times may vary depending on size and scope of project and scheduling between client and ELEMENT Kitchen & Bath Design.
Step 6- Installation
Once all of the products for your project have been ordered, and every detail is resolved, ELEMENT can then schedule a commencement date with you. We at ELEMENT are considerate of our client’s time, therefore we are flexible with our scheduling. This will give you a good time frame for planning around installations and/or construction. Depending on the size and scope of your project, installation times may vary.
